Craigower Lodge

A warm welcome and an unforgettable experience await you at Craigower Lodge Outdoor Centre and hostel in the Highland village of Newtonmore. Sited in it’s own quiet grounds and within the magnificent Cairngorms National Park, it is the perfect location for outdoor activities all year round.

The Lodge has been extensively renovated to 3 star hostel status and provides qualityself catering and catered accommodation for up 68 people including 4 family rooms. We welcome individuals, families, groups & clubs to this magnificent part of Scotland where we can quite literally say, “it’s all on our doorstep”.

Within easy reach of Craigower we have the rivers Spey, Findhorn, Roy & Spean.For the mountaineer we are half way between The Northern Corries & Creag Meagaidh. Hillwalkers have an abundance of Munro’s nearby and for skiers and snowboarders Cairngorm Mountain is close by and Nevis Range within an hour. For the cyclist we have sustrans route 7 coming through the village and the all new Wolftrax downhill trails at Laggan.
